Core Team Member: Growth & Content

Role overview

The Growth & Content role focuses on increasing awareness of Falah among students, families, and community partners while maintaining credibility and trust. A significant part of this role involves managing social media presence and creating engaging content.

Responsibilities

  • Manage social media accounts (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and create engaging content
  • Support outreach to MSAs, masjids, and community groups
  • Assist with content creation in written, visual, or short-form formats
  • Maintain consistent and accurate public messaging across all platforms
  • Track social media engagement and identify effective channels
  • Support campaigns related to applications and programs

Required skills

  • Strong written or visual communication skills
  • Experience with social media platforms and content creation
  • Familiarity with student and Muslim community spaces
  • Good judgment around tone and credibility
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally

Ideal skills

  • Experience with social media management, design, or content tools (Canva, Adobe, etc.)
  • Prior outreach or communications experience
  • Understanding of community-based growth strategies
  • Experience creating reels, stories, or short-form video content
