Role overview
The Access & Mentorship role focuses on building and maintaining meaningful connections between students and mentors. The goal is to ensure mentorship within Falah is structured, respectful, and genuinely useful.
Responsibilities
- Support recruitment and onboarding of mentors
- Coordinate mentor and student matching
- Maintain regular communication with mentors and students
- Track engagement and identify issues early
- Identify gaps in access across schools, industries, or backgrounds
- Improve mentorship processes over time
Required skills
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Comfort communicating with professionals and students
- Reliability and responsiveness
- Ability to manage multiple conversations and timelines
Ideal skills
- Prior experience in mentorship, peer advising, or leadership roles
- Familiarity with professional or alumni networks
- Experience using basic tracking tools such as spreadsheets or CRMs
